Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I'll be there as well. Hopefully I'll have more success in this league than my basketball leagues.

Re: Fantasy Baseball?
So what do what think of the teams rosters so far? I'm not sure who all of the users are, so pardon me. I think I have a solid lineup with a dismal bench although I do think Rowand will be a sleeper. I'm probably going to change my backup infielders and maybe outfielders although Guzman and Lewis will be good for steals and average. I like my own pitching staff although I'm not sure what to do with Derek Lowe. White Stockings is good, although he has too many pitchers. Harden shouldn't have picked Khalil Greene (I don't think, maybe he'll be good sleeper) or all of the SPs but he has a good pen and decent lineup overall. Byrnes when I Peavy made a questionable choice with Teagarden starting, as we're not sure how much playing time he'll get with Salty starting in Texas. I think Winnie and Rodanlee are best teams to start off. Clam made a bunch of question mark choices in Willis, Zumaya (although he has a big upside if he comes back, but that's a big if) Schilling and Ben Sheets. Hermes why did you pick Hughes, he won't get any playing time barring injuries to Burnett or Pettite or Joba. But fantasy rosters can change quickly, so this maybe a wasted post.

Re: Fantasy Baseball?
Teagarden is as good as gone as it was an autopick as well. Assuming Hamels stays healthy a Johan/Hamels duo at SP while also owning possibnly the top 2 HLD guys in the league will put my pitching up there as top notch. My hitting, not so much.

Re: Fantasy Baseball?
Finally have fought my way out of the bottom 3 or 4 spots with an 10-1-1 week last week to move up to 5th. Brand new season fellas!!!
I'm still open to trading pitching for hitting : holds ARE a stat; seems like a lot of teams are ignoring that.
Are the two forum mods first and second?? I know GYBE is up there but don't know which team is SW's.

SW is Pooholes, and yea two mods are 1-2. Time to bump 'em.
I was second right behind GYBE, I go on vacation and now I drop half way down. Time to climb back up again.

Re: Fantasy Baseball?
So the forum mods are 1-2. Very nice. I'm surprised that SW doesn't check fantasy as much as realgm bc he still has Ramirez in at 3B with a capable backup on the bench and Xavier Nady has been out for how long and is still in your starting lineup?? Seing as your in 2nd I'm not complaining or anything just merely observing.

I was just a top 3 team and had a 3-9 week. This league is pretty competitive.
