And of course a huge gust of wind blows a Cubs home run back. Did you know our last non-solo home run occurred over 30 games ago.

To be perfectly honest, I was listening to the game, and when the Sox scored their second run, I said aloud "well, that's game." I honestly believed at the time that the Cubs wouldn't score 3 or more runs. They're that bad.

Just multiply the opponents run total by 3. When we're down 2-0, it's almost like being down 6-0 for any other team.

Sounds about right: chances Cubs score more than 2 runs ~= chances normal teams score more than 6 runs.
