Nice win. Our bullpen is a joke.

If Wells can win his next couple of starts then he can seriously enter the ROY talks.

Wells had only had 1 bad outing. he should easily have 12 wins right now. If our offense hadn't been so insanely pathetic, he'd be 12-1.

now as for the game....Fontenot hit a 3-run HR. whoop dee doo. one good game. we're going to need a lot more than that to justify him playing everyday. HOWEVER, both Fukudome and Bradley have OBP%'s quickly approaching .400. That's unbelievable. The two of them, along with Aramis, are virtually getting on-base 4 out of every 10 plate appearances. And D-Lee is right behind them. If Soriano continues to hit well and Soto gives us anything at all when he returns -- the lineup is very dangerous. Potentially as good as any in the NL -- including the ultra-stacked St. Louis Cardinals. Too bad the bullpen is so awful.

And in the games when the offense did help him out in the beginning of the year, our bullpen blew it for him.
