frontline.purchasenow3.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?orgid=21477&trxstate=8&pid=6095230&roomid=5

If you cut and paste that link into IE you can open multiple VWR's. It still didn't help me though.

I didn't even try today. I scored Bulls playoff tickets last year though.

There are good tickets on Ebay:

Word of wisdom. Standing Room sucks.

Everybody is walking in front of you all the time. You have about 15 inches to stand from the wall to the line you CAN NOT pass. If you do, you will be yelled for it. There are tons of Cub staff around making sure people are in order, especially for playoff games. Its actually annoying.

lol. I laugh 'cause I've been to only 3 playoff games my whole life.

I just remember the standing room for Bulls games in the old Chicago Stadium and compared it to Wrigley's and it wasn't even worth buying the tickets.

You know all the drunk people that stand behind the seats and are too worried about re-filling their beers rather then watching the game? Well thats who your next to if you buy standing room.

Honestly you might as well stand outside with the rest of us die-hards. At least theres a good atmosphere and you might get a free hot dog if you stake out your spot good enough. >>> by the big red Bug building.

They gave away hot dogs when someone would hit a homerun in '03.

I might head out to Wrigley for one of those games and sit out on Waveland like they did in 2003

Well if we can get GYBE from Canada and 2poor from Mich I might have to open up my hospitality for ya guys if you wanna come by for the game.

Of course, we'd have to persuade GYBE to flee from Kornhieser land. 2poor is a hop skip away though he has no excuses. Anybody else from another country or state is welcome as long as I know you and I've argued with you on this board.

BYOB. lol.

I see why the tickets went so quick. Only 7500 were released to the general public. With what I'd imagine is a good portion of those going to scalpers.

I hope GYBE gets TBS in Canada. They said there will be no MLB.TV for the playoffs.

BeP: Honestly, most years I'd definitely be down to take in the atmosphere at playoff time. But I just started a new job and I really can't get the time off.

SW: Thankfully, I do get TBS. And the Canadian station SportsNet usually covers all the playoff games as well.

Most (if not all) the playoff games will be on ESPN/FOX I thought?

Oh, neat. Thats right now I remember hearing the Caray and Gwynn will be doing the games. TBS comes in bright and clear for me, so no beef.

Christ, it will be weirrrrrd to hear Chip Caray do the play-by-play for a [potential] Cubs playoff run. I just wish Steve Stone was doing the color.

Nostalgia anyone? :P

Tony Gwynn is enjoyable, don't know the second two announcers, and STONEY!!
BB will know everything about the Cubs, and Dick Stockton is pretty good at football, so they aren't that bad.
