Every time Fukudome is on base, DeRosa hits into a double play. Now when Fukudome finally doesn't, it's a homer.

DeRosa... if you wouldn't have bobbled that ground ball your 9th inning home run might actually have meant something.

:(

Terrible baseball.

(Geovany is making very solid contact though.)

Just mark the Cubs down as 1-4 since we are getting mauled tomorrow.

You know your team is sucking when you can't score any runs off the Astros. This team does not scare me. Cubs win tomorrow.

Im not worried about the astros...Im worried about our team. We have beaten ourselves twice now. DeRo gets that out, Soriano doesnt play like an ass clown and we win.

Outside of Lilly our starting pitching and Bullpen sans Hart have been fine. Our infield keeps making mistakes and we have no patience at the plate. Its like we abandoned everything we learned in the off season and spring.

Its the effin astros...how they hell do we lose to this garbage team.

Eh, Sampson has always pitched great against you guys. Give him some credit.

Anyways, Valverde almost pulled a Lidge. It's going to be a long long season. It's going to be fun getting demolished tomorrow by you guys even though Oswalt is pitching.

GL the rest of the series(and season) guys. Atleast you have people that actually care about your team and post here, the Astros board is a ghost town...

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Sometimes you have to wonder about how serious this team is about winning when we put a lineup out there every day that clearly lacks a true lead-off hitter.

Soriano = 1 for 17

And it isn't just that he is 1 for 17. Any player can go through a mini-slump and get cheated out of a few hits here and there. He has had an UGLY 1 for 17.

Felix Pie isn't doing much either. I wasn't expecting much out of him this year but everytime he comes up to the plate you know he isn't going to do anything.

That's a pretty predictable response, but please don't compare me to that insanely massive homer.

Sure it's only been 3 outings, so what? Yea, he probably will get rocked by you guys at some point. I don't expect otherwise.

Sorry I even bothered to come here to discuss the game, it's just the Astros board is dead(rightfully so, our team sucks balls).

I want a Lou meltdown right now. I don't want to wait till early June. The Cubs cannot dig themselves into another large hole.
