I am so sick and tired of watching this football reject pretend like he knows how to pitch. It is so god damn disgusting, frustrating, and down right offensive to watch. He can't even throw his one major league pitch over the plate. His offspeed stuff is a catastrophe. He has ZERO business on the big league club.
Cubs are down 3 runs and you bring this loser in? Really? Is that the best option Lou?
I don't give a **** how much fat Hendry and that loser scouting director are paying this clown. He can't pitch and it's embarrassing how he keeps finding his way onto this club.
Outright release this clown or send him down for AAA. He is not even close to ready and this experiment is a joke.
A close game has just turned into an embarrassing rout. One game in and my blood is already boiling.

One game in and I am confident that this team will struggle to finish .500. You're going to keep hearing "it's only one game" throughout the next 2 days but this is a complete embarassment. Soriano looks WORSE than last year, Zambrano looks worse, Fontenot is just as bad, Theriot still isn't good.
Fukudome, Aramis, and Marshall all look good though. Only positives from this game.

I thought Soto looked horrendous as well.

Soto as well. Too many terrible players on this team he slipped my mind.

Someone else said it, but they have to be the worst 140 million dollar payroll team ever assembled. Though I'm pretty sure their payroll is above 140. They have too many holes on the squad.
Zambrano never developed into the Cy Young winner everyone thought he could be. He peaked as an awesome #2/#3, but never an ace. That's the problem with the starting rotation. Everyone is a #3 or #5 starter, but no ace or #2 starters. Lilly comes the closest, but in a game against the Red Sox, I'll take Beckett and Lackey over whoever and Lilly.
Their bullpen is too young, but it's pretty clear Jeff Samardzja was living off being high profile and from Notre Dame. His only pitch is not even a plus pitch. The only thing saving him is his salary. Jimmy ain't going to cut him while he's making that much dough. That would be a total failure. I think Ricketts' will probably fire Jim anyway. Everyone else in that bullpen needs time to develop.
The hitting has too many holes. Outside of Ramirez, Lee, and first half Fukudome, everyone else in that lineup is pretty worthless. Soriano is a wild card on some days as he can carry a team, but can also contribute absolutely nothing.
