I know in 2007 and 2008 when the Cubs have been competing this board has been pretty active. I was just wondering how many of you are planning on participating actively when the season rolls around??

I will try to keep posting in here, I'm moving with my fiance' to Stl, yeah sucks, so she can go to culinary school down there, so hopefully I can get everything settled in by the start of the season so I can be around here.

i'll be around here a little more. the past couple years have stunk as a fan so that's partially why there has been less activity. but i'm excited for this years team for the simple fact that my expectations are low.

The last two years for me have been a trip. Graduated, switched careers, got married, moved half way across the country. My plate has been really full, plus I'm still in the media industry but now I'm out in the field more as compared with always being in my office. So that should explain my lack of participation. But for sure...I'll be on as I always am, and its out of towner guys like us that need this board more.

He's going to have to get a few more wins next year if he wants me to keep him there! Then again he hasn't had much to work with.

I think the main thing keeping us away is the losses. I don't like getting on here after Bulls and Cubs losses. I get too sick, lol

Ahhhh... I was wondering what happened to BeP.

Honestly, it's tough for me to get too into the baseball season while basketball is still going on. The Celtics usually play pretty deep into the playoffs so I'm all wrapped up in every detail of the series. The 07/08 teams were hard to ignore in April for various reasons (hilarious dysfunction early on in 07, great team in 08). But when the team is bad and playoff basketball is going on...it's easy to forget about the Cubs.

I guess this year could be the first time in awhile that you guys get a long playoff ride too. It might be tough to think about the Cubs.

I guess I will post more. Though twitter has taken over for me.

This team wasn't even worth talking about last year. What a disaster. I'll still be here though until this team implodes again.

It's a double edge sword. The team stinks so casual posters don't want to post here (like me) because no one is really posting here. I mean this board is like having a discussion via the mail, post a topic on Tuesday and check back Friday for your "results".

But I plan on posting more.

I'll post from time to time. Always reading the board if not posting.

I'll post more during the season, because I'm going to watch more games!

I love this board. At first the ghost town atmosphere scared me, but as I got to know everybody I valued the little amount of posters we had. It gave me a chance to really know everybody. I even started some great facebook friendships through this board. Once in awhile you'll see me post on Shiek's or TooCool's FB.

TwoCool, shoot I forgot his real s/n. It's something like that. Dang, 2Cool, come back.

This board was awesome in 2007 and 2008. If the Cubs go on another run this year, I expect it to pick up again if the Cubs do well. But if they play like they did last year, not even worth talking about.

I'm coming back, the disappointment of getting swept 2 years in a row in the first round hurt pretty bad, but I'm finally starting to get over it, and into baseball again.

I'm excited about the upcoming season after Quade's finish last year.

I'm new to this site, but I am hoping for an active Cubs board here, and I plan to be a part of the conversation this season! Just a few days until it starts.
