Series Thread: Cubs vs. D-Backs April 4-6

We'll start this series with the back end of our rotation. Randy Wells on Monday, and the first start by Andrew Cashner on Tuesday.
Joe Saunders starts Monday for Arizona, and Quade looks to use Fukudome at the leadoff spot in this series because of the matchups:
Cubs skipper Mike Quade said prior to Saturday's 5-4 loss to Pittsburgh that Kosuke Fukudome would return to the leadoff position on Monday.
"I like the matchups better coming up in the Arizona series with Fuke [leading off]," Quade said. "We'll play [Tyler] Colvin today and Fuke will lead off and start tomorrow, barring something crazy."

Kosuke fits well in the leadoff spot. He finds a way to get on base and he has solid speed. and it would be nice to take 2/3 this series and get back to .500.

I know they were talking about him having back issues going into the Pirates series, so he might be sitting because of that.

Keep Castro in the same spot! Stop bouncing him around! Also, I didn't know the leadoff spot is the 8th spot now.
Cubs need this game and this series.

All games in this series is at 1:20 with the first two games on Comcast Chicago and Wednesday on WGN.

I'm surprised to see Fuku in the 8 spot, because Quade said he'd be leading off yesterday.
