Cubs @ Dodgers 5/2-5/4
The story of this series will probably be a lot about Ethier's streak. I hope it ends at some point this week. I'm okay with DiMaggio's streak getting broken, but I sure as hell don't want some douche from the Dodgers to do it.
Tonight's pitchers:
James Russell (1-3, 8.31)
vs.
Clayton Kershaw (2-3, 3.52)
Advantage definitely to the Dodgers in tonight's game.

Lineup tonight:
Castro SS
Barney 2B
Byrd CF
Ramirez 3B
Soto C
Soriano LF
Pena 1B
Johnson RF
Russell P
Castro is back in the leadoff spot, and that means Byrd is back to batting third.
Reed Johnson gets a spot start in right field tonight, let's hope he brings a hot bat.

It sounds like at least another week, but it's hard to tell. It sure seems like they are trying really hard not to rush these guys.

If I have to watch Coleman and Russell start for us much longer I'm going to puke. I thought I heard they're a combined 1-7 since Wells and Cashner went down. These guys have no business starting int he majors right now. I'm glad we let Silva go because I couldn't stand him but he's better than both of these schmucks. I thought we had something better in the minors, I guess not.

I knew the Cubs were going to lose last night because.....well their the Cubs it's what they do best.
And I am tired of Quade trying to justify Russell spot on the team. He is the suckiest there is, the suckiest there was, the suckiest that ever w. Russell should not be on a major league team.

Don't confuse Russell shouldn't be starting with Russell shouldn't be on the team. Out of the Bullpen he is fine.

Agreed. The real problem is the apparent lack of major league ready starters in Iowa or Tennessee. I am very surprised that they didn't call anyone up for even a spot start or two.

Glad they took that one last night. If they can get to Lilly early today, they could actually win this series.
Let's hope Pena's HR last night is a sign of more to come.

So Soriano jogs to 1st on a ball he thinks is going to be caught, it was dropped in the sun, Soriano could have had a triple instead he gets a single. The next batter flies out and Soriano tries to make up for it by tagging up and gets thrown out. Good God.
