Joe Girardi has decided to accept a 4 year deal with the Yankees.
Cubs managerial search is still ongoing.

I really don't think managers have THAT much influence on a team. I have two qualifications I'd like met by our next manager:
- Don't bunt that much
- Give young players a fair chance to supplant veterans

Hopefully they are looking for more than that.
Managers have to control the pitching staff. Know when to pull a guy.
