diamondbacks (5-16) vs. cubs (5-12)

game 1: wood vs. arroyo 7:05 pm
game 2: hammel vs. mccarthy 7:05 pm
game 3: samardzija vs. miley 1:20 pm
game 4: jackson vs. bolsinger 1:20 pm

jeez diamondbacks look to be pretty bad too, maybe we can pick up some wins!

go cubs

there aren't many teams worse than the cubs, so it's good seeing the cubs at least take care of business against the dbacks. 100th anniversary of wrigley tomorrow. a win would be 3 in a row and our first series win...

I'd think we would definitely want long term with Wood. Might not have the sexiness of Shark, but as good or better over the same timeframe. Difference is he won't break the bank and slots in as a 2-4 starter.

Renteria said thinks Olt deserves more PT, so that's a positive.

I'm honestly doubting Renteria. After the first two games we could've and should've swept the series. Team is weak minded and that's a reflection of the coach.
