I don't know what Hendricks will ultimately be as a pitcher, but so far (albeit a small sample size) he's been very impressive and surprised me. Maybe he can be closer to a #3 as opposed to a #5 all the scouts thought he would be?

Hendricks is such a rare combination that no one really knows what to expect. He has excellent control, but his stuff is below average. Typically, scouts project players based on stuff first then factor in control. Occasionally, there is a pitcher who just out performs the scouting because of exceptional control making up for inferior stuff. James Shields comes to mind. It also doesn't hurt that Hendricks is a film and scouting report junkie so he takes every advantage he can get from that. I can see him being a #3 because of his work ethic and control.

Nice win. Nice to see us do well against a division rival. What's going to be interesting is thinking who the best position player is going to be in 2-3 years.
Not sure where Hendricks will wind up, but encouraging to see some rotation pieces that can be a part of the core after we make a big splash or two. Arietta having #1 potential and Hendricks #3 (making a lot of assumptions) can only be a good thing when we add a Lester, Scherzer, etc. to the front and push the other guys back.
Still early, but I feel like we're arguably a year ahead of where I thought we'd be when the rebuild started.

Soler or Russell will end up being the best of the group. Soler has the best bat, but Russell has a good bat and has plus defense at SS which could end making him more valuable due to the positional difference. There is going to be some interesting positional movement and possibly trades this off-season. They are also supposed to be heavily involved with Rusney Castillo which would give them another MLB ready CF. I'm not sure where that would leave Alcantara, but too much talent is never a bad thing.
If they sign Castillo and Lester then trade for another top of the rotation pitcher, i.e. Latos, Cueto, Hamels, etc. 2015 could be a fun ride.

The fact that can legitimately pick one of Bryant, Soler, Russell or Baez as the best prospect in our stacked system and no one really bats an eye is crazy.
I got my money on Bryant though. I think he's going to be MLB's golden boy for the next decade.
