thanks a lot kris, his game last night is making me look bad. yeah it has to be bryant

i'm really pulling for hendricks as the cy young, would be great for him and a great story - he was like the number 5 starter to begin the year!

another shout out to russell who continues to quietly produce further down the lineup (from bryzzo), we've got a shot for three guys to hit 100 rbis this year. i don't know how often that happens but it seems like it would be a big deal. especially for addison because i don't think people were expecting him to be doing this well (and his average isn't even that great!)

heyward had a nice game last night too, without him in the bottom of the 9th we don't have more bryant heroics

Last year only 13 players had 100+ RBIs In 2014 12 hit 100+ and in 2013 15 got 100+. This year 26 are on pace with 3 of them being Cubs. It is unlikely all 26 will maintain their pace so the Cubs could finish with 3 out of 18ish guys with 100+ RBIs this year.

Unbelievable we took three out of four from the Giants....Our bullpen was locked down, and J-Hey finally is coming through, these are good days to be a cub fan. World series or bust, still awesome.

Lot of positives. Smith is looking good and Rondon is coming back so bullpen should be even better.

Bryant jumps into a head first slide to first, in the top of the first inning, against a team that doesn't matter, with the Cubs a million games ahead in the division, and a single digit magic number in the first week of September, by your MVP candidate.

You'd like to tell him to turn it down a notch, but I guess you just don't mess with that.

Lester with another dominant performance! Feeling really good about Lester, Arietta, and Hendricks in the post season.
