now that we have a title in hand, and a deep, young, loaded team lets see if we can get some kind of dynasty going

here's hoping the pitching stays together, because that seems to be the biggest concern

The turd birds are clearly a better organization. The Cubs were lucky last year. The Cubs will return to form and lose 90 games this year. Another 100+ years of sucking coming up.

Another solid series. They shouldn't have been shut down in the opening game like they were, but they got their act together and won the series. Now for the first home series of the season. The Dodgers are solid, but without Kershaw going the Cubs should take the series and are in a good position to sweep them.

almora had some really nice catches today, such a great defender out there

Almora is going to be a very good player. He should get 140+ starts in CF this year. The team is playing good ball so far. Pirates are up next.

well it doesn't seem like we have the pirates number like we did last year

We'll be fine. It's just going to be an adjustment to playing with a target on our backs. It's a long season.

It was an ugly series. It happens. They were going to lose a series at some point. They got swept twice last season and one of them was a 4 game series. They should be able to get back on track against the Brewers.

A walk off is always a fun win. Another series win. A nice rebound from the 4 game losing streak. Reds and their hot start are next. Cubs have the rotation set for a chance to sweep them and jump on top of the division.

They took 2 out of 3 from the Reds to get back on top of the division. Now it is time for some revenge against the Pirates.
