No let Adam Dunn hit 2 home runs....but let us get the win.
(Dunn is my fantasy star)
Also to note this game is on the "Dark Channel" with the bad audio AKA CLTV.

You will hear more channel references with me throughout the season.

WCIU=The Fuzzy Channel

"Was that Murton that just got a hit I CAN'T SEE!"

CLTV= The Dark Channel With Bad Audio
Len Kasper- "SWUNG ON and hit deep way back.........Outta He.....

Hey this will be the first time all year I get to watch an entire game :)
Yesterday I came home from work during the 8th inning and I didn't see much.

Usually when I watch a full game we play well.

Pinella, I want to see some of that Cubbie swagger.
Cubs- 8
Reds- 4

Soriano and Lee each with a HR.
Lilly pitches 6 innings and gives up 3.

Alright, lets get back on track and even our record up at 1-1. I am feeling a big game from Aramis.

Aramis is a notorious slow starter, hopefully he can change his ways this year a la Derrek Lee from a couple years back.

I hope I can figure out how to redeem this 14 day trial of MLB.TV, I'm not getting Extra Innings/DirecTV for at least another week or so.

Go Cubs!

SW, that MLB2k7/MLB.TV 14 day trial works now, http://mlb.tv/2ksports

They're also doing a free 5-day trial of it for everyone, so I might just do that to start, cancel it, then cash in the 14-day free trial. 20 days from now I'll certainly have Extra Innings squared away at home. Might drop the $15 on the gameday audio so I can listen to day games at work though.

Why oh why does the Cubs game have to be on during the same time as the Bulls vs. Pistons game?

Looks like the last channel button on the remote is going to get a workout tonight.

Yeah, the lady isn't going to be too happy tonight.

Cubs at 8EST, Hornets at 8EST, Nuggets at 10EST

PS. the weather is miserable here in Michigan, probably going to be a cold nasty night for baseball in Cincy.

Nasty here as well. 28 degrees with flurries after 70 degrees yesterday.
Sox game should be interesting. Glad I'm not going there :)

Also the Bulls are at 7:30 so I am prepared to flip back and forth.

The Bulls or Cubs should have played yesterday. The only thing on TV yesterday was American Idol, which I do not watch.

Correction the Bulls are on at 6:30 which makes it worse.
The Sox are playing in the 20 degree cold on Comcast right now.

Good a chance to see what Floyd can do.
Unless if Murton is hurt we should see him in the pinch-hitting role.

Murton should be fine. They said on Monday that Floyd would probably start.

Just another power bat in our starting lineup.
Hopefully we hit a couple out tonight.

Why is the second game of the year on CSN+?
I don't get that channel.
Sometime my cable system puts the cubs game on a random channel but sometime they don't. I'm really nervous right now!

Because WGN has to show that Pussycat Doll show that gets bad ratings and the Bulls are on Comcast SportsNet when we could just watch the game on ESPN.
If they don't show the game go to this site: http://dewsaw.com/sports/component/opti ... /Itemid,1/
and click on the game maybe they are broadcasting it.

Return to Chicago Cubs
