1-1 6.00 ERA

This is a rematch of the opening day pitching match up in which the Reds won and Zambrano had a bad outing. Hopefully we can end this 3 game skid and win this series.

My Pick To Click:

Jacque Jones

Jacque needs to have a good game because he is slumping as of late.

They won't let you in with it.. I've tried something similar.

I was heckling Jones on Tuesday and the security dude pulled me aside and told me to keep it clean around the kids and not to mention anything about Jacque's mother.

Posey H8er and I went to a Bulls game a couple of years ago and we were heckling big Eddy Curry and later we found out we were sitting near his mom. Awkward.

Injuries, gross.

ESPN.com wrote:Third baseman Aramis Ramirez, one of the Chicago Cubs' hottest hitters during the first eight games, was out of the lineup with a swollen right wrist Friday and was sent to a hand specialist to be examined.

Ramirez had jammed the wrist in spring training but had shown no effects in the early going this season, batting .406 with a homer and five RBIs.

"Let's hope it's not serious, but he's got a lot of swelling," manager Lou Piniella said Friday before the Cubs opened a three-game home series against the Cincinnati Reds.

The Cubs haven't played in two days. Their Wednesday game with Houston was postponed by snow and rain and they had an off-day Thursday. But when Ramirez came to the clubhouse Friday, his wrist was swollen.

Second baseman Mark DeRosa was also out of the starting lineup after his back locked up but was available for emergency duty.

Theriot with another RBI single, 5-0.

He now has 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases. Had a really nice defensive play as well.
