Lee suspended 5 games?

Was listening to the score and heard it..
I'm not sure which show it was, because I don't listen to Chicago radio that much.
It was just a little bit ago though.

Both also were fined undisclosed amounts for their conduct during the incident. The announcement was made Monday by Bob Watson, vice president of on-field operations for Major League Baseball.
A Cubs spokesperson said Lee was appealing the penalty.
Both suspensions were to begin Tuesday, when the Cubs play at Texas and the Padres play host to the Baltimore Orioles.
Appeal means he can delay when the suspension starts, right?

Yes I remember Sammy appealed after the corked bat incident and he got to play like 2 games after it.
At least Chris Young got 5 games too (1 start)

barrett appealed his and it was delayed for some time i believe . . . either way, i think the league knows our situation and maybe will wait until ram-ram is back (hopefuly). . . anywayz, i think 5 games is less than what most of us were expecting . . .
