Alternating games between the Westside home of the Cubs, and the Southside home of the Sox, the Cubs are upset by a weak hitting White Sox team dubbed "The hitless wonders", by the Chicago papers. Neither team won a home game until the White Sox closed out the series in Game 6 with an 8-3 win.

Nice to see the Cubs execute instead of seeing the Cubs fail to execute.

This is one of the many reasons why Lou is a better manager than Dusty.
Dusty would have never played smallball in that situation.
