You don't know how angry I am right now with him. The one opportunity he had to use one of the best players in the game he doesn't use him. Instead he used Lee and Soriano for 5+ innings probably to wear them down.

Can someone tell LaLoser that the All Star Game decides home field advantage in the World Series or was he coaching under influence?

Someone give this man a CUI.

I blame him for the loss. Who would you rather have with bases loaded and 2 outs, Rowand, or Pujols?

Pujols is one of the most clutch players in the game. Aaron Rowand is more of a defensive player than offensive.

One possibility:
Maybe Pujols tweaked something last night in the Derby?

I cannot believe he left Rowand in there. It looks like he left Rowand in, and left Pujols on the bench, because the Cards don't look to be competing for a playoff spot this season.

Seriously, what are the odds we see Albert hitting there if the Cardinals are in first place in the NL Central? Pretty high I bet.

Pujols was mad. I was Mad. My Cardinal Friend Was Mad. The Fans Are Mad. This Is The All Star Game. I want Pujols up with a chance to win it. I won't forget this game ever!

The only chance Cub fans might have to cheer for Poo-holes at the end of the game and the damage isn't going against our guys and who blows it for us...

Tony LaRussa the leader of the enemy. Grrrr!

Its a conspiracy against Cub fans not to cheer for Albert!

That one was a bad choice for La Russa...a very bad choice. He had the chance to clinch the home field advantage for the NL, to stop a ten game winning streak for the AL, to give Albert a chance for a walkoff hit....he missed all these chances. Bad bad bad job Tony!

Some more good points. All in all, put the blame on Tony.

Has anyone else read Three Nights in August? I bought it because of the Cubs aspect obviously, but LaRussa comes off like such a jackass in it to me. Him and the author actually.

Are you honestly surprised LaRussa did something like this?

Hell, I might've done the exact same thing in his place.
