Derrek Lee To Serve His Suspension

Lee was injured during Tuesday night's 4-2 loss to the Giants after fouling a ball off his left ankle. He expects to be out for 2-3 games, which in part lead to his decision to drop his case. A hearing on the appeal had not been scheduled.

Good move, I guess. I mean the timing is right and we've been winning through various avenues within our offense.
We'll be alright. I'm more worried about Derek himself 'cause he was just starting to find his power.
On a positive note Derek could use the rest going into the stretch run.

WGN said that the Cubs are heading into a stretch of games where they're only facing right-handed starters, which played some part.
Good time for the lefty Ward to get some ABs.
