Stoney was on WSCR and predicted that the Cubs were close to signing Zambrano to a 4 yr. deal.

I would agree with ya breakneck, Steve has always told it like it is. Plus think of all the sources Steve has with the Cubs.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was the first to break the story.

Not suprising news, but certainly welcome.
His kids are about to start school here and he's building a huge house in River Forest apparently. His wife's entire family is from the area as well. He should be here for the long haul.
