Mets vs. Brewers tracking thread

Post#1 » by Howling Mad » Wed Aug 1, 2007 12:26 am

In honor of my Mets...

I hope Tommy Glavine can put his 300th win under his belt tonite. I have a lot of faith in the Mets especially after they just picked up their biggest hole in the field, 2nd base. Ohhhh and the pickup is gold glover Luis Castillo! I'm happy to be a baseball fan because both of my teams are doing well.

Go Cubs!

Go Mets!

Top of the 2nd inning no runs.

Tom Glavine no hitting the Brewers so far.
Wouldn't that be amazing if he got a no-hitter and his 300th win?

Tommy usually loses it in the 5th inning, whether its just hits or runs with those hits we'll find out soon.

Its sad because hes dominant for like 5 1/2 innings, than the rest is like poopy.

Ok well Tommy is doing everything opposite of what he usually does.

For some reason he has started to get more command and had a 1-2-3 inning in the 5th closing the inning out with a strikeout.

Go M-E-T-S, METS!

Its going to be a good night (fingers crossed, knocking Wood at the same time, no pun intended) if Tommy can get his 300th win and our Cubbies can start their reign in first place!!!!

Would you trade Aramis for D. Wright?

Alright Cubbies looking good. Just get it to Billy and we can shut the book on the Brew Crew.

I would have to say Wright is good for the Mets in Shea and Aramis is good for the Cubs in Wrigley.

Mets need more defense from the 3Base pos. Cubs need more offense.

Right now... Wright = Aramis in value.

Aramis just woke up as a superstar and Wright is having a semi-bad year.

Ok Brewers are off to a good 8th inning start.

Hardy on first with Braun at the plate.

Return to Chicago Cubs
