Rookie Eric Patterson was sent to Double-A Tennessee after arriving late to the ballpark on Tuesday, a violation the Cubs did not want to let go because he'd done the same thing at Triple-A Iowa. Outfielder Sam Fuld was called up from Tennessee to take his place. Pitchers Carmen Pignatiello and Kevin Hart were also promoted from Iowa.

When you've been called up from the minors, usually you go out of your way to make a good impression and win a spot on the team. Pathetic.

Harsh, but its a good way to make it clear that if any Patterson diva behavior is still lingering around the Cub organization, it will not be tolerated.

I hate Corey and his special treatment.
