With our pathetic display today there is no chance he buys our team.

What has he won?

and from what i remember Don Nelson (not a player granted) had quite a rift with him.... and quite frankly i don't want to see all of his antics anywhere near wrigley, or whatever new stadium he builds

That is sweet that he sat in the RF bleachers.

I'd love to have Mark Cuban but the team, he's not afraid to spend money in order to win.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Chicago Sun Times wrote:``I'm here to get a better feel. I'm certainly interested,'' Cuban told ESPN's Erin Andrews.

You don't park an attention magnet like Cuban by the on-deck circle, then formally show him on the telecast as play-by-play man Len Kasper comments, if you don't want speculation.

Chicago Tribune wrote:He declined to talk with media before the game, except to say he wanted to enjoy the Cubs and a beer. Cuban's timing is curious because this is about the point when ownership said it would open its financial books to prospective buyers.

The twist in the story...

The box Cuban was sitting in, was Sam Zell's personal box!!!

Ok, there's more to this story.

Per Silvy and Waddle on AM1000.

Bud Selig has told Sam Zell to hurry the sale of the Cubs. As a billionaire smart ass that Zell is, and with the other current owners not liking Cuban as part of their 'gentleman's club', Zell quietly gave an F U to Selig by having him sit in his personal box.

The same furious, stubborn attitude that we all hated, just might be the same thing that gets us the owner we want!!!

David Stern and Bud Selig should get married.

I agree, especially since he is making me look like an idiot since the Cubs ended up winning that game Cuban was at in September. That was the DeRosa game winning RBI against the Reds.
