Why we won tonight: ...vs the Reds 9/17/07

Ryan Theriot

If Alfonso Soriano had led off in the 9th inning we wouldn't of seen Ramirez bat.

Theriot is a born lead off hitter. He took a first pitch fastball down main street. He was patient during a 3-1 count. Took a high fastball for a ball on a full count. Patient.

I'm sick of this Soriano at leadoff BS. Soriano leads off that inning we start with an automatic out.

Why this game was similar to the Colorado Comeback:
-Night Game
-Batter goes 5-5 (DeRosa tonight, Fontenot then)
-Cubs win on a game winning hit

Speaking of that Colorado game, DeRosa did the same type of "run" after the win.

I recorded the 9th inning on my DVR.
I labeled it "Never to be deleted"

I can't wait til mlb.com puts up the radio audio of the game winner.
Ron Santo must have jumped out of the press box.

i do this a lot. i turn on pat and ron the same time im watching the cubs game at key moments. i put it on when de rosa was up to bat cause i knew something special was about to happen. when the cubs won, he was trying to scream loud but wasnt able to that well cause he had a cold. he kept on shouting WWWOOOOAAHHH!

my girlfriend and i were cracking up. we love ron. great win by the cubs!
