Mike Cameron and Milton Bradley from the Padres are out for the season just in time for the 4 game series against the Brewers.
With the Brewers bound to take 2 of 3 or possibly sweep the Cardinals the Cubs need to have a 4-2 road trip to ensure a playoff birth.
If we had a 1 game lead going into tomorrow our season would have been over.
Thanks Braves.

To force a 1 game playoff:
Brewers go 7-0 Cubs go 3-3; 1 game playoff in Chicago
Brewers go 6-1 Cubs 2-4; 1 game playoff in Chicago
Brewers go 5-2 Cubs 1-5; 1 game playoff in Chicago
Brewers go 4-3 Cubs go 0-6; 1 game playoff in Chicago

To clinch a playoff birth:
Brewers go 7-0, Cubs go 4-2 PLAYOFFS!
Brewers go 6-1, Cubs go 3-3 PLAYOFFS!
Brewers go 5-2, Cubs go 2-4 PLAYOFFS!
Brewers go 4-3, Cubs go 1-5 PLAYOFFS!
Brewers go 3-4-Seasons Over
Brewers go 2-5-Seasons Over
Brewers go 1-6-Seasons Over

at least pujols is back in the lineup...I think the cards can take one from the brewers and the padres will still be in the the thickof the race so I suspect they will win a game or two.

Am I the only one who fears that the Cubs are just gonna blow it and lose every game out since everyone is already thinking about who would be a good playoff match up.

If the Cubs blow this lead, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
3 against the Marlins and 3 against the Reds.
