OT: How are d-backs 90-73

Their bullpen is great, their offense is so-so, their starting pitching is crap except for webb, so how are they winning the NL West. They're just getting a lucky single from tony clark or stephen drew in the bottom of the ninth with two men on, two away. And then valverde closes it out. A pretty cheap way to win, right. Have their starter give up 5 earned. Bullpen gives up a run before valverde. Then they score some magical run off an error or some great single. And then valverde cannot possibly ever blow a save. Let's hope he's like dempster in the playoffs. And i didn't even mention Orlando Hudson's out. His speed, glove, and veteran experience will probably hurt the d-backs in the playoffs.

I hate to reference back to the White Sox, but Arizona reminds a lot of the White Sox. Yes, the team that w--.w..w. won the world series.
"meh, not bothered, don't care. Nobody cares, who cares. Not me, I'm not worried, not thinking about it!"
Anyways, that team played hard all the time, and never gave up. Cliche, but the D'Backs win with smoke and mirrors, which in Laymen terms means hustle and effort.

They remind me more of a different team from 2005. The Washington Nationals. They came out of nowhere, beating teams when they statistically weren't that good at all. At one point they were 19 games over .500, but ended up at 81-81.
Nationals runs scored- 639
Opponents runs scored- 673

Only in the pen. White Sox had much better starting pitching and win almost every postional battle. The sox starters dominated the playoffs that year.

It's playoff time......Anythings possible.
Besides if you want to point things out, look at the Rockies replacing their top 3 starting pitchers and CF and look what they did..........
