Why did the Cubs even bother going to the playoffs?

Diamondbacks fans are already calling on the radio that they are worried that their Diamondbacks might let-up in the NLCS since they had the easiest opponent. 100 million dollar payroll getting beat up by AA and AAA guys. That's pathetic.

we're cubs fans, you always have to *believe*. This is just pathetic that we have these threads.

This has to be the dumbest thread i've seen in a while. SHould we have conceded our playoff spot to SD so it would get the Diamondbacks ready for the NLCS?

Thats because Phoenix fans in general are stupid. Series isnt over yet, just like when T-Mac ran his mouth against Detroit a few yrs ago and they ended blowing a 3-1 lead. Anything is possible...just wait.

When you have great teams like Cubs, Yanks, and Sox; their fans get greedy. You're goign to stop believing after 2 games?

This series will go to 5 games.

I am the one saying to believe its fuzion and all these other guys that are already tlking about the offseason.

We can do this. Rich hill going tomorrow hopefully we get a strong outing from him. All we gotta do is keep it close against Webb when he pitches, and contain 3 guys Young, Drew, and Byrnes. Thats it.

But Dlee aram and Soriano all neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to step up now. This is the case where it actually is "now or never"
