Listen up douchebags (thats means you cub players), the playoffs have started. if any of you know the whereabouts of numbers 25, 16 or 12, could you please come forward as they have been missing for two days and the fan base is a little worried. i really dont know what to say you all. i hope you win on saturday and if you don't, i'm making a trip to chicago and there's going to be some serious tire slashing going on in the wrigley players parking lot. if you don't want to win for the sake of the city or cubs fans worldwide, at least win for your rides.

that is all have a lovely day

Considering that mistake pitches are what have killed us in both games so far, it isn't the worst idea in the world.

How is Soto to blame for mistake pitches? By definition, they're pitches that miss the intended spot.

On Chris Young's homer, Lilly specifically said he shook off Soto's breaking ball call for his own fastball and left it too high.

It's not the worst idea in the world, but it's up there considering Soto's been our best offensive spark so far and can actually throw out runners.

I'm not blaming Soto, I'm just saying that both Z and Lilly were probably being heavily relied upon to call their own games, and that can take its toll and potentially lead to some poor decisions (especially when you consider we're talking about two extremely competitive pitchers).

Possibly. But Z was getting some pretty good results from whatever was happening in game 1. Sure he wasn't exactly sharp that day, but you couldn't argue with his results.

Right, but what happens when Marmol comes in? He gets himself into a bad count with Reynolds and leaves a pitch over the heart of the plate.

I'm really really not trying to blame the pitchers or anyone in particular, I'm just saying that having a veteran presence behind the plate does a pitcher a lot of good...and lord knows I wouldn't want Hill calling his own game for the most part.

Kendall has enough clout where he can shake off a pitcher and they'll listen, Soto, not so much.

WIth Hill's slow release, incredibly slow curve and Kendall behind the plate, EVERYONE will be able to steal a bag tonight.

I see your points 2poor, I just really disagree with Lou on this one.

I hope you were not planning for a game tonight. It's tomorrow.

Honestly, A-Rod struggling in the playoffs really increases the chances he's somewhere other than NY next season.
