Thanks for the "great" season

Post#1 » by SportsWorld » Sun Oct 7, 2007 1:29 am

Thanks guys for coming here since April 1st and talking about the Cubs. I know the season didn't end like we wanted it to end but at least we made the playoffs and hopefully again next year as well. I had a great time talking Cubs with you all and I hope you will all be back next year and occasionally during this offseason.

Agreed Bro...It was great talking to all the faithful on here. Great Season, great time. If I dont see you all on another board I will see ya in April or during FA. Big Ups to the regulars we made this board one of the best in the MLB Forum.

This thread makes me feel better. A little...

It was a fun season, filled with ups and downs. And eventually a big disappointment at the end. If you want to make yourself feel better, watch the video in my sig.

this board would be more attractive if it didn't have such excessive whining.
(yes, I'm whining about whining. but not excessively so)

Yeah, it was great talking to you guys throughout the year. I never really posted a ton here... but I tried to when I had a chance... and I read it a lot.

Cheers to a good first season on this forum and here's to hoping we're all back here next April for opening day.

You guys are all pussies. Man up bitches.

Ok you all have been great all season. Hopefully I'll run into the non-Bulls fans during the Football and Basketball seasons. Head up Cub Fans!

We wasted your time?
I hope you are joking because you guys let us get into the playoffs by playing bad in the 2nd half.

You don't even know the meaning of these words. Try being a Cub fan.

I always enjoy reading angry cub fans posts after you guys lose a big game and the brewers win. Then we can brag about it. I hope you guys are ready for another year of the brewers/cubs rivalry, because we will be in the hunt next year as well.

And I would like to think that the brewers would've won at least one game from the diamondbacks...

I wish we could have a 90 million pay roll and then barley beat a very young team to go to the playoffs and then get swept.

To respond to you, I can very simply say, we made the playoffs and you did not.

I wish we had a 8.5 game lead in the division in June and blew it by August 1st.

I cant wait till all those young players are eligible for arbitration and half of them leave because your team cant afford them.
