Wiretap: Cubs Might Trade Ramirez?

Daily Herald - The Cubs might be able to unload the four years and $62 million remaining on the contract of Aramis Ramirez.

The thinking is that they would trade Ramirez and sign Alex Rodriguez.

What the hell is with the Daily Herald and the Aramis hate?

That's what I was wondering too. The Daily Herald isn't exactly a well known newspaper/website. I bet they saw my article I posted in the other topic and put it in there

I like Ramirez a lot, but would you honestly be upset if they somehow ditched him and obtained A-Rod??? It's rather far-fetched, but it seems unfathomable fans would be cheesed about that scenario.

I'm greedy, I want them both.

Gimme both. I cringe throwing theriot on the bench, but I'd love to see A-Rod on Cuban's Cubs.

If we were to get A-Rod, he would play SS.
Theriot would play about 10 games at SS, about 50 at 2B, and be a great option off the bench.

If trading Ramirez means we get Arod I am all for it...though I would rather have both.
