Just reported by peter Gammons on Sportscenter.

WOW I did not expect anyone to get both.

Trade involves Andrew Miller, Cameron Maybin, Mike Rabelo and 3 other prospects.

Whats crazy to me is that they got both for not one proven player. These are the kinda trades the cubs need to make.

I mean look at the Santana deal. Either way the Twins are asking for Melky or Jacoby, both of which are proven young guys.

Although Maybin is a highly touted prospect. I dont know about Miller though.

That lineup is stacked, as well as the rotation.

Mags
Cabrera
Sheffield
Polanco
Granderson
Renteria
Pudge

They are ALCS bound vs Boston.

Oh wait they have Jacque Jones. No World Series for you Detroit!!!

Rotowire:
While the Tigers may have a deal about wrapped up, the White Sox also made a strong push to acquire Miguel Cabrera this afternoon, offering Josh Fields, Gio Gonzalez and either John Danks or Gavin Floyd.

White Sox fans are probably killing themselves. They lost out on Hunter and Cabrera and Willis and Cabrera are heading to their division.

The Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers have agreed in principle on a trade that will send Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit for key prospects, sources told ESPN's Peter Gammons.

The Tigers would send outfielder Cameron Maybin, pitcher Andrew Miller, catcher Mike Rabelo and three other minor league pitchers to the Marlins.

The deal is expected to be announced Tuesday night when the physicals and paperwork are completed.

Miller was Detroit's top pick in the 2006 draft and went 5-5 in 13 starts after being called up last summer. Maybin was the Tigers' first pick in 2005 and shot through the farm system, hitting .143 in 24 major league games, Rabelo batted .256 in 51 games, and one of the other pitchers, 23-year-old Eulogio De La Cruz , appeared in six games for the Tigers, hitting 100 mph on the radar gun.

following our rival and the other two curse teams winning the world series (Soxs and Cards) and someone how being involved or hurt by 4 straight world series wins prior to this yrs series. I think the only logical move is to see Jacque win a world series, its the only way god can punish us.
