OT: Comcrap robbed me of 100+ channels
CSN HD, CNN HD, a ton of premium channels, Travel channel, nba league pass/ nba tv, and several other channels have suddenly disappeared. At first, they said to be announced, now they just flew off the map. Anyone else have this problem? SOBs at Comcast

OK, so I get a message left on my voice mail this morning from Comcast asking me to confirm that I still need them to come out tomorrow (from 1-3pm) for a service call. They tell me that the "issue" might have been resolved remotely, so please give them a call if the service call is no longer necessary. That is awful nice of them, except for one thing -- I NEVER SCHEDULED ANY SERVICE CALL.
So I decide to give them a call to let them know that I am not expecting them to show up tomorrow and that they must have gotten their information mixed up and called me accidentally. The lady checks my account and informs me that, sure enough, I did not schedule any service call. I tell her I agree with her and that I was only calling to tell them to not show up at my house as I don't need them. She quickly agrees and then continues the conversation by turning it into a sales call and she tries to get me to upgrade to Comcast's phone service... for about five minutes. Ugh, I was too nice to just hang up on her. Plus she has my account active on her screen, the last thing I need is for her to angrily sign me up for some garbage service as "payback" for me hanging up the phone.
So I am on to you Comcast. You give people BS automated service call confirmations in an effort to get the person to call in to explain the mistake. Then when you have them on the phone you sell, SELL, SELL!
Damn you Comcast.
