Brewers adjust to new Cub Fukudome

After their Opening Day victory, the Brewers had only one problem left to solve against the Cubs.
After their 8-2 victory Wednesday, the Brewers seemed to have everything figured out, chopping Kosuke Fukudome from four times on base to one.
So if there was any difference between the two games, it was Fukudome, who contributed all the Cubs runs on Monday. Other than that, the Brewers have dominated.
And every at-bat in those games is important, as Fukudome proved Monday in a unforgettable major-league debut that included a dramatic ninth-inning, three-run, game-tying home run.
Yost was impressed, to the point he acknowledged Wednesday morning: "To be quite honest, we still don't really know how to pitch to him."
One scout who saw Fukudome much of the spring in Arizona said the Opening Day offensive display was impressive.
"He was horrible in spring training. I don't think I ever saw him get a hit," he said. "You have to pitch inside. You stay away, away, away and then see if he has any fear [by throwing way inside]. That's the way you pitch to [ Ichiro] Suzuki."
