Could it be because Jason Marquis is pitching for us?

Look at his first three months last season, especially April. Marquis will surprise some people.

Meh, we are due for a big offensive day anyways. Maybe our offense can offset a bad Marquis outing.

Weather is going to be great as well. No excuse that it is too cold:
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 64. Southwest wind around 10 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 67. South wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Breaking news: Marquis is garbage.

He almost gave away a run by needlessly throwing the ball like a little girl.

Smart play by Marquis getting the double play. 1 run will not win this game.

Why is Pie sitting against a righty?

He hasn't even been one of the three worst hitters, and he needs consistent AB's. This better be a one game rest and not a trend.

Marquis is infuriating. Walks Tejada, who rarely walks, after getting him in a 1-2 count.

It feels like the leadoff man gets on every inning so far this year.
