my little bro went down to st.louis two days ago and heard a bunch of card fans saying how overrated the cubs..there lack of respect disgusts me... anyways, we should end there Cinderella story now like we did last year.. i hate the cardinals with a passion!!!!!

Yeah the Cardinals have been and still are our biggest rivals. Beating them feels so sweet. Another series win would be nice.

How do you know you really hate a team? well when we were beating the snout out of milwaukee i kind of felt sorry for them.. when we were beating the snout out of the cardinals.. I WAS LOVING IT!!!!!!!

TV analyst Bob Brenly will miss Friday's game because he's flying to Boise to watch his son, Michael, a recently drafted Cubs farmhand who is off to a good start. The Cubs are off Thursday and Monday, and national networks carry the games Saturday and Sunday. Dan Plesac will fill in for Brenly Friday.

Let me tell you something... I go to school in the StL and although they may be among the most knowledgable fans in baseball, the Cards fans are also among the most insecure along with the White Sox in terms of worrying about the Cubs

I just remember how everyone, I mean everyone was rooting for the Saints, which was understandable given Katrina and what not, but the Bears were getting so little respect it was sickening. One of the Bears fans here had a sig that had every ESPN analyst but one choosing the Saints to win that game.

During the 06 NFC championship, I wanted Devin Hester to run back a TD so the stadium could play, "Here I am...Rock You LIke A Hurricane!!!!"

I sincerely felt bad for them, although many chose to stay. I don't know why? ...but its common knowledge in NO that if the damns ever broke, the city would be pooped.

Friday:
Braden Looper, RHP (10-9, 4.29) vs Ted Lilly, LHP (11-6, 4.35)

Saturday:
Todd Wellemeyer, RHP (8-4, 4.01) vs Carlos Zambrano, RHP (12-4, 2.76)

Sunday:
TBD vs Ryan Dempster, RHP (12-5, 2.93)

I'm pretty sure Chris Carpenter is going Sunday but they don't have it official on the Cubs site. We have the advantage pitching-wise all 3 games it seems. Carlos only threw 85 pitches last inning so he could go 120.
