Weve been debating who is a better SS over on the Brewers board. Im just wondering what you guys think...

Hardy is easily better.

If you really needed someone for the top of the order, Theriot might make more sense because of his superior OBP skills...but Hardy is a much better player overall. It's not close. Hardy had a VORP of over 40 last season, he's one of the best shortstops in the game.

Hardy is better. I think Theriot's 2008 numbers may be the peak numbers of his career.
