Unfortunately I have never been there. January is usually a time where I am still full of emotions about the previous season.

But I can't wait to hear Hendry get grilled in the Q and A session about Peavy. The fans really attacked him last year with the Brian Roberts talk.

I would like to go to one of these sometime. Maybe I'll try to get tickets to the Blackhawks convention this summer. I read that the Cubs convention sold out in like 20 minutes. Pretty shocking to me with the way the season ended.

--The big-screen TVs the NHL used for the Winter Classic seemed fine for hockey, according to fans at the convention, but not for baseball. Shouts of “no” were the order of the day when the idea was broached for Jumbotrons for baseball.

Idiotic. You could barely notice the jumbotrons during the Winter Classic. I think it would be a great addition.
