oh i couldnt stand wuerst. good job by hendry on the trade.
too bad about hill. just never became that solid pitcher.

I'm not sure Wuertz had a good chance of making the bullpen roster anyways. These prospects do not look that good but it was a decent move. It would be a waste to pay Wuertz him 1 mil+ in the minors.

I hope hill turns his career around and we can get a really good prospect.
I honestly dont think Wuertz was better than anyone other righty in the pen. Knowing our luck Wuertz will turn it around ala Eyre and Ohman.

It's unfortunate what happened with Hill.
He looked like he was the future second guy in the rotation.

think hendry is still angling for Peavy, or trying to reload the farm
