Isn't it wierd that our three worst hitters today are batting 2nd, 3rd and 4th?
Yeah, I know Theriot and Fukudome have been hot, but it's a small sample size.

What is that? 12 straight innings without a run?

I find it shocking that the Reds are once again in a position to be able to win a series on the road with the way they have been hitting overall as a team. Luckily we have a decent pitching staff or we'd be doomed.
On paper, it looked like the Cubs would destroy the Reds. You have quite a few guys in the lineup with batting averages around or above .300

The Reds have quietly put together a good pitching staff.

16 straight innings without a run now? Yikes. This team is kind of bad.

Zambrano with the error. Not much energy or momentum with the Cubs.

Meanwhile St. Louis is up 11-3 against the Mets.
Brian Barden: .391 .440 .826 1.266
Who the **** is that?

I won't argue that because you have a good team offensively, but I do think the Reds pitching staff is decent. Our top 4 starters match up well enough against any other teams top 4, and our bullpen isn't bad either. The Reds downfall will be the offense imo.

I have Barden on one of my fantasy teams. The league is so deep that I actually started him this week. He's killing me, the only Cardinal without a hit.

Stop trying to steal bases. Unless you get them around 80%, it's not worth it. We're 7 for 14. This team isn't that fast.
