I can't say I'm surprised since I said there is no way he comes close to having a year like he did last year.

I'm just glad Jimbo thought it was a great idea to run out and sign him before letting him test the market.

That $$ could have been used to take on Peavy's contract in a trade for him.

This may be a sign of an arm problem from his big innings jump last year. I'm not saying he's definitely hurt, but I wouldn't be suprised if he needed surgery at some point this year.
