Bradley better start hitting to potential because this is going to make Hendry look like more of a joke.

Hopefully Hendry counters this with another move like when he got Harden after brew crew got Sabathia. I say we get someone like Mora, Figgins, Wigginton, or Huff- all good utility guys and someone in the pen. Send a middle- infield prospect, Hart, and another prospect should be enough to get them maybe Willie Harris or Teahen. Would be a very Hendryesque move to fetch a utility guy in the coming days. If we make any move to get a util guy from O's we should try and get Sherrill if at all possible in the same deal.

I'm no knee-jerk Hendry basher, but man, this one doesn't look so good.

I agree with the above poster, that Jim will probably compensate for these mistakes before the deadline passes, but right now, we sure have the short end of the stick.

I really don't even care about the Cubs all that much but DeRosa should have been the last player to be traded this off season. This franchise deserves to fail.

There was no reason that last year's 97 win team should have been broken up. The playoffs are a crapshoot and if you keep getting there, you're eventually going to break through and go the distance. Instead we got more left-handed and now we won't even be making the playoffs. Last year we ran into a red-hot Dodgers team. And in 2007 we were clearly not the better team.

I have less love for DeRosa now that he's in a Cardinals uniform. *Pukes.

He looks like someone bad just in that horrible Cardinals uniform. I shudder when I look at that.

Our painful move to hurt the other teams fans move was better.
