Fontenot has got to go..

This guy sucks donkey balls and I am fed up with it.
His 2 out at bat in the 9th was so predictable. I was screaming for Fox to get in there.
His OBP has to be under .300 by now.
His good season last year was clearly a fluke and so was his nice start to this year. Please get rid of this clown and put someone in there who brings something to the table.
Get a real shortstop in town and move Theriot to 2B please.

His overall line will look better at the end of the year, now that Baker will always play against lefties.

Fontenot is the Kirk Hinrich of this team. Can't get it done when the game is on the line.

When can Fontenot get it done? Theriot's not much better in the clutch either. We need a new middle infield. I can put up a bit with theriot but I've really lost it with fonteno.

Blanco has had his clutch moments too. Carrie Muskrat the other day was defending fonteno saying he was a lot better in the second half. But Hendry seems to realize this seeing as how he is reportedly constantly on the phone with the Pirates. Hopefully he gets us Sanchez.

Aaron Miles, Andres Blanco, Joey Gathwright? However I believe Fontenot is really underachieving from his potential. He could be hitting .270/.330/.450/.780 this year easily.

Fonte-NOT is not an every day player in the majors. He absolutely can not play every day for a legitimate contender. Next off-season we need a long-term solution. The platoon we have going on right now is not acceptable.
I'll never forget him missing the bunt in the 9th. The pitch was right down the middle and he wiffed. I have never seen anything like that. Terrible. That would have saved our bullpen for last night -- which could have given us a HUGE victory. Critical moments in a game can carry over to the next indirectly.
