Aramis Ramirez and Milton Bradley were penciled into the Cubs lineup for Friday's start of a weekend series against the Pirates at Wrigley Field, but both were ailing and possible could be limited.

Ramirez, who has been missing since the weekend with soreness in his left shulder, reported with what manager Lou Piniella described as "a really, really bad cold." Bradley has tightness in his right hip, but was nonetheless written in as the No. 2 hitter.

Missing from the original lineup is catcher Geovany Soto, who hasn't hit well since returning from the disabled list a week ago. Koyie Hill was catching and Piniella said, "I'm going to play both of them for a while."

Hey Cubs fans. I'm going to say the Cubs will sweep this series. The Pirates bullpen loves to blow games, so once the Cubbies get into that, expect a win.

And watch McCutchen play as much as you can. The kid is a stud. He is so fast.

I think the Cubs will win 2 of 3 with the Pirates winning tomorrow against Gorzelanny. I bet McCutchen has a big series too. Speedy leadoff men always seem to kill us. From Nyjer Morgan to Norris Hopper.

Man, I swear Brewers and Cubs fans have more in common than we think!

Damn no standing ovation for Ronny Cedeno. I'm disappointed.

The Sam Fuld love is ridiculous among Cub fans but he's probably a better hitter than Soriano at this point.

Same for Derrek...

Can we just get a god damn win? Build up the confidence again by beating up on some bad teams...maybe catch some breaks.
