Joel Pineiro with Cardinals this year 11-9, 3.25 ERA, with Cardinals in general 24-20, 4,14 ERA
with Mariners 58-55, 4.48 ERA, with Red Sox 1-1 5.03 ERA
Julio Lugo with Red Sox .253 BA 10 HR, 103 RBI with Cards .365 BA 1 HR, 5 RBI
Ryan Franklin with Mariners, Phils, and Reds 41-57 about 4.45 ERA, with Cardinals 12-11 2.81 ERA, 37 Saves
Todd Wellemeyer with us, Royals, Marlins 6-11 about 5.68 ERA with Cardinals 23-20 4.21 ERA
Just some of the many with the Duncan/LaRussa effect. Thank god those two have expiring contracts. Hopefully they retire or get jobs elsewhere.
Not to mention Carpenter's huge increase in performance when coming to the cards.
