No way the A team happens, but that's the one I would pick. Its younger, you still magically have Herro which we can trade for an upgrade at PF and we keep bam with his great defense.

Team B is interesting, we blow up our defense and our defensive identity for more offense. Is Yurtsven a starter? How good will Vincent be? Butler would be our point guard in crunch time since Durant is more of a finisher scorer. It would be interesting to see if Spo can adapt to this team and play to their strengths.

First team is definitely possible.

Hmm seeings these teams lined up i would say the Kyrie team has better spacing for Butler to operate and better defense too. Fat chance keeping Herro though

Word is on the Kyrie trade that herro, bam and jimmy is untouchable so I kept herro on the team

Kyrie Irvin value is low. Lower than Ben Simmons. Its a good chance Nets may have to pay to move Kyrie. However they do not have draft picks i think they pretty much broke on picks. They will have to take bad contracts in return. Kyrie has a huge problem. Teams are not gonna want to extend him long term. He might get a 1 and 1 contract for the rest of his career.

Y’all may not like herro and he did sh*t the bed in the playoffs but he is still young so it’s okay. He still provides 20 POINTS off the bench. How are we gonna replace that? Plus bams defense would be gone too. We are left with unproven and undrafted players and ain’t no telling how that will go. But vet mins might help the situation so it’s very unclear on that aspect.

Does the fact that the Nets are committed to (read as STUCK WITH) Ben Simmons make a potential trade package centered around Bam (+ Herro and more) for Durant less appealing to them? Simmons and Bam aren't a good fit.

Herro can go for a 4 then. Bams the only future piece we need to be worried about.

That's why Herro can be traded for a starting 4. From an asset perspective, we are positioned to benefit from Oladipo's bird rights and Herro's value in some form or fashion even if we don't keep them both.
