If we have a deal in place we should have announcement already. No need to wait for free agency.

Heat should not cripple the team for Tucker. He is worth more than what he will get paid but the Heat have too many 25 plus mill contracts on the roster. It is worth the gamble to find another veteran 4 that is let loose on the market.

The player the Heat cant afford to lose is Dipo. The need for a point guard and a possible high level scorer is a rarity in the league.

IMO the Heat should be trying to do a sign and trade with Tucker so they can turn around and trade for KCP.

Likely has to wait till resigning their own free agents which may limit their trade ability.

What do people see in John Collins? I know the Heat really need a guy who can create and get them a bucket whenever, but does John Collins replacing PJ Tucker really move the needle? I'd prefer to use the assets Miami has to get more of an ISO threat.

We can try but I don’t think Philly would want to get hard capped if they can avoid it. I think they do other deals to shed salary before they do a sign and trade.

He’s a much better offensive player. Adds some size also.

He isn’t close to the defender (ability or versatility) Tucker is though.

So, who'd we get?

Smith or Hartenstein. Make me happy.

I think he rounds out the lineup rather nicely. Makes Bam’s job easier cause he can do the dirty work down low but is also a scoring threat himself. He may even allow Bam to have more freedom offensively himself instead of always being the designated DHO guy.

So we’re trying to get Kyrie without giving up Herro or picks? That’s not happening.

We have a bigger deal in place down the line we need the picks for? Bigger than Kyrie?

Idk man, I want to believe it but idk. Only time will tell

If they’re weighing Kyrie vs Lowry with the difference only being 1 year in their contracts it’s pretty simple to me. Kyrie is far better
