How much would his max be?

Like $30M to be a negative one dimensional player who can’t do the one thing he’s supposed to be good at in a playoff setting

Far from one dimensional y’all are down playing herro right now, Robinson is the definition of one dimensional

He’s a good regular season scorer, good rebounder for a guard, and a solid passer. He’s arguably the worst defender in the world and the team plays better when he’s off the court. You can’t pay $30M for that.

I think we should hold up with Herro. We will be in a good position to pay, match or sign and trade next season. Keep the options open.

I know giving the extension early is something we normally do, but this decision is too large. RFA and those advantages let us make it next season.

We’ll know on Beal soon. If he opts out he’s staying. He has to make a decision today

I'm feeling very negative today for many reasons. My opinion today is that we will lose out on all free agents and probably lose Tucker and Dipo as well. Our big free agent signing will be Caleb Martin. We will suck next year worse than this year.

Expect the worst. That way when anything good happens your mood will be better.

Yet in all your asinine trade proposal spamming he's the central piece that is supposed to make teams give up their centerpiece. Funny how that works

So this likely means Oladipo and Tucker are gone.

I dont know about you guys but if we can add Barnes for essentially the same outgoing price via trade of Robinson, Jovic and a FRP but still be able to retain PJ, Dipo and possibly Martin I feel that needs to be explored first.

The plan has always been to operate as over the cap team signing Tucker with Early bird. Not sure what Collins trade would have to do with this if we are sending out Duncan and possibly another few small contracts. We would have access to the tax payer midlevel of 7 million which some part of that goes to Martin. Oladipo is under bird rights.

Basically if we traded for Collins I'd imagine we'd be taking roughly 4.3mil back so we dont have to also include Yurt, Strus or Vincent. Which would mean we can't pay Tucker more than 8.4mil starting and would only have roughly what I originally thought was 6-7mil under the luxury tax to resign Dipo, but they are talking about the luxury tax line being 150.2mil and not projected 149mil i was working with so could be something more like 7-8mil for Dipo which still would likely be under his asking price.

So unless we are going over the tax line to retain Dipo then not sure how the money would work.

I imagine we are trying to work an Oladipo S&T as some reported and letting Tucker walk if we are adding Collins.

He’s a young scorer, people eat that up (like you). That being said, there’s a reason he hasn’t been traded for a star yet to improve the team and it’s not because Miami views him too highly to trade as we saw with Riley dogging him in his presser about being a god awful defender. Your terrible opinion doesn’t outweigh the facts of his game and the numbers that back it

I said that 50 pages ago. Anybody who doesn't have a problem with losing for so long like he has, isn't a Heat player.
