May she love you through good posts and bad posts, but personally I would not schedule a marriage so close to the draft. Unrelated: I am not and have not been married.

Look man, there's only so many hours a day and with posting, personal hygiene, work, etc gobbling up the waking hours, something's gotta give. Ephemera like true love and familial relationships...life is all a bout choices.imo

Can someone explain why Beauchamp is being pronounced as 'champ' like 'champion' and not the French pronunciation?emunney wrote:French for handsome champ.

Saw the press conference and it was fine. Beauchamp seems like a good kid and harped a lot about hitting the gym and getting to work (as well as Gianni's favorite "getting better day by day"). Summer League should be fun.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Still think when he locks up another player defensively it should be said that he roshambo’d them lol

Generally speaking a person's name is pronounced however they pronounce it. There are no hard and fast rules for the English language in general and anything goes when it comes to names. It's kind of a cosmic gumbo.

Probably a safe bet that he will at least be a solid NBA rotation player if he has any actual NBA talent. He has the right attitude. Polar opposite attitude wise of a guy like Nwora. I have a lot more optimism for him than I would usually have for a guy picked at #24.

PS the Kawhi & Pippen comparison are laughable ... it is not only the talent level ... it's about who coached them ... Kawhi & Pippen had the best EVER coaches ... Popovich & Phil Jackson.
Bud is just a coach who is friendly with the players , implemented the 5 out offense with Giannis on court that any elementary school coach would do so. It took him 2 years and alot of luck and probably called out by his players to add the dunker spot on offense that made wonders. In any case Bud has done nothing to improve any of our young players. This board is similar to Donte board... it took you 4 years to realize that he is not good enough even if he tried his best.
Giannis is 27?
What young players should Bud have played more?
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"
Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

DDV played 15mpg as a rookie, then 23mpg, 27mpg & 24mpg. Allen was playing 27mpg for us at 25yrs old. What other young players deserved minutes? The only other younger guys were very late 2nd rd picks and guys on 2way deals.

Christian Wood is the obvious example.
There was a time when DJ Wilson had figured things out, shot the 3 well and he was really active on D ... somehow he was shot down.
Stanley Johnson & Gary Payton II found rotation minutes on a championship caliber team.
Carter deserved more minutes even at the playoffs.
Jabari Parker should have been showcased and traded for picks or another young player.
Nwora was coming off the bench with a hot hand, for a couple of months, somehow his value has come to zero.
We keep signing players that are too old that can't even help us come playoffs, like Bud is bored to develop or doesn't care.

Parker is all but out of the league & never even played for Bud.
Christian Wood has off the court issues if you follow the trail of failed franchise stops en route to Dallas.
Wilson didn't maintain his level of play. That seemed pretty much on himself. Thats how he lost PT.

You must think that more minutes would have magically improved them to being a true rotation piece.

Well of course. Playing time in actual NBA games improves player's development. It's not only about developing a rotational player , it is about showcasing a player to keep their value and trade them in order to retain or increase your assets.
A normal GM with brain would try to refresh & reform his assets ... we continiouessly park our young players to the bench for miltiple years till their value gets to zero.
The combo of Horst & Bud has been horrific for young players, that adds to the narrative of a non desirable destination.
Why would Hartenstein prefer the Bucks since it is almost certain that he will not have playing time. Brook, Portis, Giannis will eat all the frontcourt minutes. The problem is that Horst & Bud don't think we have a roster problem, they believe we can win it all with Giannis,Khris,Jrue,Brook,Pat,Portis and a couple more rotational players. So they don't care about asset management, neither player development.
I am not saying we can't win it all BUT our % decreases alot cause depth & health status are related and we have no depth and we have no assets.
So even if I don't like this year's pick ... I would like to load Beauchamp with playing time to see what we got early and either keep him in rotation or trade him before his value plummets

Christian Wood stinks.
Stanley Johnson stinks.
DJ Wilson stinks.
Payton and Jabari weren’t even Bucks when Bud was coach…
Kidd actually kept giving GPII getting minutes but, he was absolutely useless on offense.
Jabari couldn’t stay on the court long enough to be worth anything
