Horst had a good run stealing Brook and Bobby in FA. Hill and Ingles are just bad signings from the beginning.

I do think there's some underrating of Ingles going on. Age and injury make this a lottery ticket move but I think there's a lot more upside here than the **** we pulled last offseason with Hood and Ojeleye. The Bucks betting their biggest free agent chip on him is quite the gamble though, I will admit that.

I like Ingles signing because they're getting him for the playoff run. They need a guy who can make a ton of 3s and who has proven that his balls won't suddenly shrink in the playoffs, once Bucks get past the first round. Here's looking at you, Bryn Forbes and Grayson Allen.

Hood and Ojeleye were minimums. Ingles at minimum would have been fine. As it is, the only FA of significance is a guy who was too slow to defend the perimeter before he had an ACL reconstruction 5 months ago.

We got the guys back and I like Ingles come spring next year. Not mad at all. I'd have Nwora or his replacement in the rotation until Ingles is fully healthy... no need to rush Ingles back.

The Ingles signing is weird because not only did have the ACL, he did not play well last year before getting hurt and he turns 35 in October.

Last time Ingles was in 2nd round, in 2021 versus the Clippers, he made 17/38 triples. 44.7% and almost 3 makes per game. That's why we signed him.

Thrilled we got Bobby locked-in now. Less thrilled about over the hill Ingles. He was a mess this past season - a reckless mess, at that - prior to tearing his ACL at age 34.

Fine as a flier to see if he could have a resurgence, especially considering his history as a ++ three point shooter. But the deck is stacked against him it seems, and it's just uninspiring as a result.

ETA: Damn glad to have Carter back. Let's play him this time in the playoffs, yeah?

Looks weird now. But come February in an alternate universe and this guy is back running the court, we would be pretty excited to add him mid season for the TPE instead of a Blake level buyout.
